How Arvancloud Looking Glass Works
BGP Looking Glass uses a worldwide network of servers to analyze the path between a particular IP address and a chosen network. This provides detailed routing insights, allowing users to make informed choices about network connections. To get started select your network and region, and choose the command:
BGP Command
The BGP command in the Looking Glass uses the Border Gateway Protocol, the backbone of internet routing, to show the series of autonomous systems (AS) your data crosses to reach its destination from a chosen router. This feature allows you to see the exact routing path and available routes for a specific IP address or prefix.
Ping Command
The Ping command allows you to view round trip time (RTT) and time to live (TTL) between a selected network and an IP address.
Traceroute Command
The Traceroute command is designed to map the journey of packets from the source address to the destination address you specify. It reveals all the router hops the packets encounter on their path, detailing the domain, IP address, and round trip time for each segment.
